Small campers - big adventures

About HoboTears.org

My name is Jeff and I am really good at getting lost on my motorcycle. I love to travel and explore the world around me by taking unplanned roads and stops. I live on the edge of the Texas Hill Country. It is a place that has endless winding roads and filled with historic towns. Each one provides unique experiences. To extend my adventures beyond an afternoon of riding, I have built my own teardrop camper and tow behind my trike.

when I was building the camper I could not imagine it would attract so much attention. Every gas station, every stop, every campground it somebody seems are curious about this contraption. I love showing my camper and discussing my design. Because the interest in this project is so great, I have decided to share what I have learned about designing, building, and towing teardrop campers. On this site I hope to answer all the questions to the best of my ability.

WARNING! I am just some random guy on the internet. Riding motorcycles is very dangerous and you have to be totally crazy to drag a trailer behind you. I highly recommend that you never tow trailers behind your motorcycle or trike. Go find a safer hobby, like crocodile bungee jumping or bull riding. However, if you are as crazy as I am, then here is what I have learned. Hopefully some of my experiences will help you make wise decisions.
